In January 2019, IncredibleBank Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to the Hmong American Center to fund its Rice Assistance Program. Rice is a crucial part of Southeast Asian families’ diet. This donation makes it possible for the Hmong American Center to distribute more than 125 50-lbs bags of rice throughout the year to families in need. “The Hmong community has progressed tremendously in the last four decades,” said Yee Leng Xiong, Executive Director of the Hmong American Center, Inc., “but despite the progression, there are still many families that are in need. This program serves many Southeast Asian families in Marathon County and help ensure that no children or elder goes hungry.”
