For many of us, the holiday season is a time of joy - large meals shared with family and friends, festive décor, and perhaps even opening presents. For others, the holidays aren't quite as merry.
That's because in the US, there are over 47 million people who are food insecure.
This holiday season, IncredibleBank partnered with WSAW News Channel 7 for the 22nd year in a row to help amazing organizations in our hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin: The Neighbors' Place, The Salvation Army, and Peyton’s Promise.
This year's fundraiser brought in $159,006.92, bringing the total for all 22 seasons of Share Your Holidays to $1.5 million.
Studies show that food pantries can buy three to four meals with every dollar donated - over the last 22 years, that's at least 4,500,000 meals, not including the tons of food donated over the years!
