You pull up to the IncredibleBank drive thru, and you see a shiny new machine. And it looks like an ATM. But you want to do more than just withdraw money. Can this thing help you?

These machines – our Enhanced Drive Thru – are technically called Interactive Teller Machines, or ITMs. But that’s boring, am I right? And let’s be honest, it doesn’t tell the whole story.

This machine can complete most of the transactions you might step into our lobby to do, but without needing to leave your vehicle…and without the weird suction tube taking your money into the abyss.

Plus, there are some great benefits to our customers…read on to learn what those benefits are!

We’re so glad you asked! The reasons are many, and they revolve around our customers. Let’s dive in:

  1. Extended hours. You read that right. No more traditional banker’s hours (we’ve heard aaaalllllllll the jokes) – with these new machines, you can get your super fun banking done on your schedule, not ours.
  2. Self-service…if you want it. We love talking to our customers. And if you love talking to us, great! You can do that during staffed hours through this new drive-thru, staffed by our incredible team. But if you haven’t had your coffee yet, have demanding toddlers in tow, or simply don’t feel like talking to a live human today, you have that option too. It’s all about what you want!

  • Deposit checks and cash
  • Withdraw cash
  • Get cash back on your deposits*
  • Transfer funds between your accounts
  • Make loan payments
  • Cash checks
  • Update your personal information (ex: phone number, address, email address)
  • Apply for a loan
  • Open an account
  • Get help using mobile or online banking

The best part is…drumroll please…the transactions listed in bold above can be completed after hours! That means even if our drive-thru is not staffed, you can still get your banking done.

You can also put up to 100 bills and/or 50 checks per transaction. That means if you have several checks, multiple bills of any denomination, or some of both, you can complete that transaction right at the machine! You can also split your deposit into up to three different accounts. Take that, regular ATM!

*Note: In order to get cash back on your deposits without the assistance of a teller, you will need to deposit the check and then complete a withdrawal. You will not be able to use the funds from the check as a part of your available balance.

To use the machine, you start by touching anywhere on the screen to get started. You will then follow the prompts on the screen to complete your transaction.

You’ll be able to choose whether or not you want to speak with a banker, what type of transaction you want to run, and more!

Transactions completed at the Enhanced Drive Thru will look a bit different on your monthly statement and when you look at your transactions using mobile and online banking than transactions you run in the lobby or at a traditional drive-thru. Some transactions may also take a bit longer to appear in your mobile and online banking. 

Short answer: nope!

Slightly longer answer: From the friendly face you can talk to through the machine, to the team that performs regular maintenance on the machine, to the people who process your transactions on the back end, it takes IncredibleBank employees to keep these machines running.

The Enhanced Drive Thru is simply a way to provide you with better service when and where you need it.

Unfortunately, no. But look at it this way – you can save up that change and bring it in later for some extra cash!

Also no…however, if you are an IncredibleBank customer with a deposit account who want to cash a check with change, the change will be deposited into your deposit account. It’s like a little bonus deposit! 

Think of it like cilantro – some people love it, and some people think it tastes like soap. Wait…that’s not quite right.

Basically, like many things in life, some people will love the Enhanced Drive Thru, some people will tolerate it, and some people won’t like it at all. And for some, it will just take some getting used to!
