IncredibleBank is honored with ABA Foundation Community Commitment Award.
Wausau, WI: October 14, 2019 – IncredibleBank was recently recognized by the American Bankers Association Foundation for its Community Commitment in the category of Protecting Older Americans. This national award of excellence will be presented to the bank at the ABA’s annual convention in Seattle on October 29.
The recognition was presented to IncredibleBank for their efforts to combat dementia’s effects on the financial security of customers with the bank’s Dementia Friendly Training Program. More than 150 bank employees have been trained on how to protect and empower those struggling with dementia. Employees pick up on subtle and overt cues that someone may be struggling with dementia, they know how to communicate with customers that need extra time to understand and complete a transaction, and most importantly, they know how to deliver that service with compassion and respect.
According to the ABA, the selection committee chose IncredibleBank based on the creativity and thoughtfulness of their dementia program that embody the ideals of corporate social responsibility and demonstrate success in measurable terms. IncredibleBank was chosen by a field of nationally recognized experts.
